She has owned horses since 1976 and competed on the Hunter Circuit in
the Middle Tennessee area from 1976-1983. She is currently a member of
the Hillsboro Hounds.  She and her husband own four thoroughbred
hunters and a very talented hunter-jumper pony, Rosie.
She lives on a nine acre farm in Williamson County, TN.

Her husband’s family has been involved with the thoroughbred breeding
and horse show industry for several generations.  Her father-in-law was
the well-known Olympic Equestrian, Billy Haggard.  He bred, trained
and showed one of USA’s most famous Olympic Horses, Bold Minstrel,
who is the only horse both currently in the Hunter Hall of Fame and
the Show Jumper Hall of Fame.

She spent many years riding and hunting with Billy, prior to his death,
and has an insider’s knowledge of the horse world that few people ever see.
